You know your living it up...

When you're the last to leave Chuck E Cheese's!!! We took the kids tonight for dinner... and it was actually pretty enjoyable, seeing as it wasnt the chaotic mass mayhem of a Saturday afternoon!! It was Sebastian and Xander's first time, and Bastian didn't know what to think of the singing and dancing characters!! He preferred riding the toddler rides, (not the monstrosity of a horse ride daddy tried to put him on!) And walking aimlessly around taking in all the lights and sounds. His favorite game is still skee ball... we could spend an hour on one token, cause he throws the ball.. and it rolls back down.. he throws the ball up... you get the idea. :)

By the time we left, we had spent nearly 3 hours in there.. and I think all 5 babies were asleep before we made it home. When we laid the baby boys down, Xander was fussing.. so while daddy ran to the grocery store.. Momma got in some Xander snuggles as he snuggled into my shoulder and drifted off to sleep. This is what dreams are made of... my dreams.. of time spent with my family.. times full of smiles and laughter. Times that I hope to hang onto for a long time to come!!

Zoo times

Last year we went ahead and bought a family zoo pass, (mainly because its become so expensive) and it quickly became one of our favorite things to do!! Not because the Little Rock zoo is so great, cause let's face it.. there are much better zoos.. (that are free no less!) But because it was something outdoors, all the kids love it, and it provides some sort of exercise.. Not to mention, that once we paid our membership, we could go as often as we wanted.. for free!! (With 5 kids, I'm all about cheap/free entertainment!!)

So today we took Sebastian and Xander to renew our membership, and check out the new penguin exhibit.. and to try out the new dual stroller! Which we loved!!

Xander was content to just stroll around, as long as he had something to eat or drink within arms reach.. Sebastian on the other hand, decided he was far too big, and much too nosy to be stuck in a stroller with a baby all day!! I was worried that I may have to eat the words "I will never put a leash on my baby!", but he did so good!! Never wandering off too far in front of us, and always returning to our side when we yelled "TAYLOR JAMES!! :)

I thought the penguin would be his favorite... but he became so fascinated with the gorilla and apes.. Going on and on in his babble, I'm sure telling us everything we ever could have imagined about the furry creatures that ran around, often reminding us of Sebastian himself! This is also where we learned Sebastian had added a new word to his vocabulary. Water. He was going on and on, pointing to this and that, and then pointing at the little pond, ever so clearly was "water", quickly resumed by his incomprehensible babble. :)

He is getting so big.. way too fast! :( Pretty soon he will be babbling about some girl he has fallen in love with, and I'll just pretend its all still just baby babble that I don't understand, and just keep nodding my head.

Bathtime Buddies

It makes life so much easier now that both boys take baths together!! Although, Sebastian thought it was great fun to splash his brother and I.. but now that Xander has learned to splash back.. he doesn't think its so cool!! And its all fun and games until one of them decides the bath would be better if it was a brown muddy color!!! Then your running and scrambling trying to get them both out and bathed in another part of the house... Xander has been tossed in the bathroom sink before!!

I got a holiday from work tonight (which means 30 minutes prior to leaving for work, they call and offer you the opportunity to stay home... I don't usually know how to say no!), so we spent another beautiful afternoon fishing, riding four wheelers, and planning the 2nd annual Bryant tiki party which will also be Sebastian and Xander's birthday party. This year we will be roasting a whole hog and renting a huge inflatable waterslide!! It's gonna be so much fun!!

We are planning to take the two babies to the zoo in the morning, to check out the new penguin exhibit. It's supposed to be another beautiful day and what better excuse to try out the dual stroller that we FINALLY got!! So I'm sure I will have more pictures to share tomorrow!!

Lazy Day Sunday afternoons

Have I mentioned I LOVE this time of year?? Missed church this morning since I was so exhausted after working last night.. and I spent the morning dozing in my chair as my family went along with their daily activities.

Nanna came and spent the early part of the afternoon with us.. taking the time to bathe the boys and heading to get us all pizza for an early dinner.

Bastian of course wanted to go outside... so we all followed suite... Such a beautiful day!!! I absolutely love our house and where its at.. semi country life with a huge back yard so all our kiddos can play. Tj mowed the front yard while the babies and I putzed around on the 4 wheeler down by our pond.

A lazy day.. with nothing to do. But spend our day doing absolutely nothing... except spending quality time with our family.. making memories that will last forever and a day.

First of one or none..

So Facebook is boring me... and I have so many everyday thoughts and emotions... that I thought I would come here. I used to love to write.. write my thoughts.. letters.. poetry.. but some where along the way I lost that.. so here is my first.. of who knows how many blogs.. Will I learn to love writing again, or will it just fade away.. only time will tell.

First of all, where do I start. I'm so very much in love with the most wonderful husband and father to our children. Tj has taken on so many roles in the last few years.. best friend, lover, husband, father, father figure.. the list goes on and on.. He brings so much happiness and laughter to our lives. And its for all these things that I have fallen so deeply in love with him!! He is absolutely amazing.. and perfect for our bunch!!

The Bunch... 5 amazing kids make up our "bunch".. Tj and I live our lives everyday for them.. there have been some long sleepless nights, moments filled with frustration.. but most of all, moments filled with joy, love, happiness, and laughter. I can't even begin to imagine life without each and every one of them! (Don't tell Tj, but I wouldn't mind trying again for one more girl!) ;)

I know I say this all the time.. but I love my life! Sure there are family and friends that have come and gone.. or aren't as close to me as I would like... I'm far from rich, and will never know what its like to not have to worry about bills so much.. And there are days that the pressure and responsibility of it all try and bury me under a rock... but at the end of the day... I have a husband that stands beside me, supports me, and loves me for who I am and what I'm capable of doing, not what everyone thinks I should be doing or saying.. and 5 children that are being raised by parents that play an active role in their life.. Parents that realize money is important, but its not everything.. its not the most important thing.. Children that shower us with an unconditional love.. a love that money can't buy.

Does it really get any better?

I think not my friend, I think not.
